Sarnia police say they’re looking for the owner of property recovered Tuesday evening to reach out to them.

Sarnia police say they’re looking to reach out to the unknown owner of property recovered Tuesday evening.

“Officers on patrol located the apparatus pictured below while dealing with an individual,” police said Wednesday in a statement.

No additional information was immediately available about the incident with the individual, what the property is, or if it was stolen. A label in the photo identifies it as an air-driven liquid pump manufactured by SC Hydraulic Engineering Corp.

“If this belongs to you or you know to whom this may belong, you are please asked to contact Const. Connor Maxim at 519-344-8861 ext. 6258,” police said.

Motorist charged with impaired driving

A 31-year-old Wyoming resident is facing impaired-driving charges after a motorist was pulled over for speeding on Oil Heritage Road Sunday morning, Lambton OPP say.

The traffic stop took place around 9:45 am

“Upon speaking with a driver, it became apparent the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage,” police alleged Wednesday in a statement.

The driver was arrested and taken to headquarters, where tests were over the legal limit, police said.
