A 26-year-old woman has been charged with assault following an altercation late Monday morning, March 27, 2023.

Brantford Police say a woman was in an argument with a 15-year-old youth at Brant Avenue and Church Street at about 11 am

The accused is alleged to have struck, pushed, and punched the victim several times, though no injuries were sustained.

A 35-year-old man and 32-year-old woman from Brantford have each been charged with breaking and entering.

Officers were patrolling Roy Boulevard at about 12:30 am Monday, March 27, following a separate report of suspicious persons when they were dispatched to a business where an alarm had been triggered.

A suspect was arrested after attempting to flee from an open rear door, while a second suspect was located hiding inside the building.

A 21-year-old Paris man stands charged with assault; cause disturbance; and resist arrest.

Brantford Police were called to a convenience store at Shellard Lane and Blackburn Drive at about 7 am on Saturday, March 25.

A man attempted to enter a parked vehicle while the vehicle’s owner was inside the store.

The victim is alleged to have been assaulted, sustaining minor injuries, after confronting the male.

A suspect fled on foot but was located at a Bricker Court residence where he was found banging on the door and yelling at occupants of the home.

He resisted when being taken into custody, police said.
