Police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a Simcoe property on Saturday, July 2.

The black, 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen sometime in the early morning hours from Head Street North, said Norfolk OPP.

Stolen truck located in Haldimand

A pickup truck reported stolen from a property in Norfolk County was later located in Haldimand.

Norfolk OPP say a green-coloured 2008, Ford F150 was stolen in the early morning hours on Saturday from a property on Charlotteville Road 8. The thieves gained entry to the vehicle where they located the keys.

The vehicle was later located at a Park Street West address in Haldimand County.

Another vehicle with keys left inside was also stolen from the Charlotteville area of ​​Norfolk on Saturday night.

Police responded at about 1:45 am to a report of the theft of a black coloured, 2008, Ford Escape from a Front Road address.
