Police blotter: Police looking for suspects after driver forced from vehicle, robbed

Police are investigating after a driver was reportedly forced out of their vehicle and robbed of a large amount of cash on Thursday night on Newport Road in Brant County.

Brant OPP were called at about 9 pm They are looking for two suspects after they say the victim was robbed of his wallet.

One of the suspects is a man with medium-length hair, about six feet tall, who was wearing jeans and, possibly, a green long-sleeve shirt.

The second suspect is a man with long brown hair, also about six feet tall, who was wearing jeans and a long-sleeve shirt.

Police say both suspects are reported to have a strong accent, although the specific type is unknown.

Beachville resident charged with careless driving

A 21-year-old Beachville resident was charged after a single-vehicle collision in South-West Oxford Township on Monday.

Oxford OPP were called to the collision on Sweaburg Road at about 8 am

The driver, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries, has been charged with careless driving.
