A 69-year-old Norfolk County is facing drug trafficking charges.

The OPP Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at about 5:40 am on Wednesday, February 21 at a Nelson Street residence in Port Dover.

Officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and ecstasy (MDMA), drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency.
The accused has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Earlier in the week, the OPP CSCU found an individual on Chapman Street E. in Port Dover wanted on outstanding warrants.
The individual was taken into custody just after 1 pm on Monday, February 19, at which time police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
A 50-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance – methamphetamine.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Cell phone stolen
Norfolk OPP are seeking assistance to help identify a suspect who stole an employee’s cell phone at a Delhi business.
Police say an employee inadvertently left a purple iPhone on a table in the dining area of the businesses just after 6 pm on Saturday, February 10.
The unidentified customer concealed the phone on their person and left the premises after placing an order.
The customer is described as a Caucasian male between 50 to 60 years of age, wearing a brown jacket, brown hooded sweater, dark pants, and a Toronto Maple Leafs hat.
