Police blotter Gasoline stolen from shed

Norfolk OPP are investigating the theft of four 20-gallon tanks of gasoline.

Police responded to a report of a break and enter on Henry Street in Windham earlier this week.

The culprits broke into a shed on the property sometime in the early morning hours on Monday, May 23 and then removed the gasoline.

electronics stolen

Electronics and other items were stolen in a break and enter on Robinson Street in Simcoe earlier this week.

Norfolk OPP say someone broke into a business sometime between May 19 and May 24. Electronics, a coffee maker and a paycheque were removed.

Police are reviewing security footage in an attempt to identify those responsible.

Mischief at park, along trail

Several acts of mischief were committed at Memorial Park and along the Lynn Valley Trail in Simcoe.

Norfolk OPP say someone spray-painted graffiti at the two locations and at the Rotary Bridge along the trail.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the culprits. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

Tire set on fire at park

Police and firefighters responded to Long Point Provincial Park after someone set a tire on fire on Tuesday afternoon.

Norfolk County firefighters extinguished the fire.

The incident is under investigation.
