Police blotter: Break-in near Jarvis; driver puts vehicle in ditch

Haldimand OPP are investigating a break in to an outbuilding on Highway 3 near Jarvis.

Police were called at about 2:30 pm on January 24 after the owner returned home to find someone had gained entry to the building.

A vehicle and snow machine were moved out of the building to the driveway, and the suspects left the scene with keys, a drill, and a leaf blower.

Woman faces impaired charge

A 46-year-old Norfolk County woman has been charged with impaired driving.

Norfolk OPP responded to a single vehicle collision just before 10 pm on January 23, where the vehicle was located in a ditch on Highway 24 Townsend, Norfolk County.

The driver was uninjured but placed under arrest after showing signs of intoxication.
