More than $270,000 worth of cocaine and fentanyl was seized and four people charged following a pair of raids on Southwestern Ontario homes earlier this week, Woodstock police say.

The drug-trafficking investigation began in January and two addresses in Brantford and Paris were raided by police, including officers from Woodstock, on Monday and Tuesday. Police say officers seized the following:

- $127,980 in cocaine
- $144,320 in fentanyl, an oft-deadly synthetic opioid
- $1,160 in prescription medication
- $2,110 in cash
- One vehicle
Four people from Brantford – a 45-year-old man, a 47-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man and 27-year-old woman – are facing multiple drug charges, Woodstock police said.

Drug raid in Tillsonburg

Two people are facing charges after Oxford OPP executed a search warrant at a property on Goshen Road in Tillsonburg.
Police seized a cell phone, Canadian currency, packaging materials, knives, scales, and suspected fentanyl in the March 1 raid.
A 30-year-old Tillsonburg man has been charged with drug trafficking, possession of a prohibited device and failing to comply with a probation order.
A 54-year-old man, also of Tillsonburg, has been charged with drug trafficking and possession of a prohibited device.
Both are scheduled to appear in court in Woodstock in April.
