The man, who is in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion after being at large since Friday. Two men have already been arrested on suspicion of serious violence against an official and the man who was arrested today is considered to have been the driving person in the assault.
The police officer reportedly suffered head injuries and is being treated in hospital.
Several resources must have been part of the operation in which the police’s regional task force must have participated. After the arrest, a search was carried out in the suspect’s residence, something TV4 News was the first to report on.
