Police are suspected of having ordered narcotics – previously convicted of drugged driving

The investigation against the police began with a person receiving a misdelivered letter. In the shipment, which according to the investigation was addressed to the police in Uppsala, were 50 tablets of a narcotic-classified sleeping pill.

Two weeks later, the next letter was seized. This time with 100 tablets of the same preparation, but that shipment did not reach the police’s home either, but was discovered in a larger drug mess.

Tablets in bag

One day in March, when the police were on their way to work, she was stopped by plainclothes officers who found 77 tablets in the policeman’s jacket and bag, which means that she is now charged with minor drug offenses and two counts of attempted minor drug offenses.

The police deny all the allegations.

Drove grossly drunk

Two years ago, the police officer in question was convicted of drugged driving and aggravated drunken driving. In that crime, which occurred in Uppsala, the police had 1.84 percent alcohol in her blood when she was tested.

The sentence became probation because the court took into account that the police would lose their jobs. But it took until August of this year before she was dismissed from the Police Authority, when the conviction for aggravated drunk driving and drugged driving became legally binding.

– I have nothing left. I am forever now a criminal in everyone’s eyes. I don’t get a job, I don’t get anything, says the police in questioning.

SVT has sought the police defender and the prosecutor who leads the preliminary investigation, but without success.
