Police action in Linköping – suspicious object

Two cars collided on the E22 at Mönsterås at around 3:30 p.m.

A Russian court on Wednesday sentenced a Swedish man in absentia to 23 years in prison for having fought alongside Ukraine, the Kyiv Independent reports.

The trial against the five men began in the partially Russian-occupied Donetsk in August 2022. Only a month or so later, however, they were released in a prisoner exchange.

The court that sentenced the men is located in the Russian city of Rostov-na-Donu near the border with Ukraine.

The rescue service is currently on the scene at Lommarbadet in Norrtälje for a suspected drowning accident.

– People have called in and said they heard screams. We haven’t found anything, but are looking further, Roger Sverndahl, management operator at the Greater Stockholm rescue service.

The caller suspected that someone had ended up under the bridge. The rescue service is currently assisted by divers from Stockholm.

– We will be there for about another hour.

During the afternoon, a drowning accident occurred at the swimming pool Hökåsengropen in Västerås.

– Resourceful private individuals have found a person in the water and picked up the person. We are there and assisting the healthcare system, says Roger Sverndahl, management operator at the greater Stockholm rescue service.

The person has been taken to hospital.

Aftonbladet receives information that a knife robbery allegedly took place in a garage in Liljeholmen, in southern Stockholm.

The police confirm that they have been dispatched to the scene, but do not want to comment further on the case.

– We have received information about a suspected crime, but I don’t want to go into what type of crime it is at the moment, says Daniel Wikdahl at the police.

21 Palestinian children diagnosed with cancer have been allowed to leave Gaza for treatment outside the besieged strip of land, Al Jazeera reports.

In pictures, families are seen in tearful farewells before the children are then taken out via the Kerem Shalom border crossing.

The effort takes place in collaboration with the World Health Organization and an American aid organization, according to the Qatar-based media company.

Two nights in a row in mid-May, armed boys were arrested who appear to have had their sights set on the Israeli embassy.

One of the nights, the police were able to find findings that indicated that a shooting had taken place. The motive for the shooting is unclear. But the embassy was the target, according to Aftonbladet’s information.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with a felony weapons offense after being caught armed with a loaded gun in a taxi heading to the Israeli embassy.

Now a 15-year-old boy is sentenced for serious weapons crime to eleven months of youth supervision, Nacka District Court announces.

The incident has previously been pointed out by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad as an Iranian commissioned job.

The Social Democrats’ party secretary welcomes Jan Emanuel back to S.

The police are investigating possible connections between the three deaths at Northvolt in Skellefteå, the police write on their website.

The investigations are classified as deaths without suspicion of crime and at the moment there is no suspicion of crime.

However, there is uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of the deaths because it was not possible to get clear answers during the forensic examinations as to what caused the deaths of the persons.
