Police action at school in Hallsberg

Two students have been stabbed at a school in Hallsberg.
The police are on site with several patrols.
“We take what happened very seriously and will work closely with the police and the municipality regarding what happened,” the school writes on its website.

The police are on site with several patrols at a high school in Hallsberg due to a fight.

– When we arrive at the scene, we find two injured people. They have been taken to hospital by ambulance, but the extent of the injuries is unclear, says police spokesperson Evelina Åström.

The school itself states that two students have been stabbed.

“The incident happened on the school premises and the emergency services were called immediately. The school immediately took measures to ensure the safety and security of the students,” the school writes on its website.

Dog patrol on site

The school has closed for the rest of the day and plans to return to classes tomorrow. No one has yet been arrested.

– We are in the process of finding out who has been physically involved, says Evelina Åström.

The police are investigating the incident as serious assault.

– We are working full time at the site and searching with dogs to secure tracks. We have also blocked off and will hold interrogations, says Evelina Åström.
