Great Britain pole vault star Molly Caudery jumped his country’s record and season’s world-leading 492 at the athletics competitions in Toulouse, France. The result takes the Briton to seventh in the all-time world record.
Caudery cleared the height on his second attempt in a race held in rainy weather. The result improved Caudery’s previous record by six centimeters. At the European Championships in Rome, Caudery won bronze with a score of 473.
