“This is illegal, an attack on diplomatic immunity,” said Russia’s ambassador to Poland after the events.
Poland announced on Saturday that it had taken over a school building located near the Moscow embassy in Warsaw. The building is intended as a school for diplomats’ children.
The building, commonly called a “nest of spies” by the residents of Warsaw, has been disputed for days of the year. representative of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lukasz Jasina according to which the building was taken over by order of the voud.
Representatives of the city of Warsaw did not comment on the case.
Russian ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreev told Russia’s state news agency Ria Novosti that the takeover is illegal.
– We consider the school to be part of our diplomatic representation. This is illegal, an attack on diplomatic immunity. Of course, this will result in countermeasures, Andrejev said.
According to the ambassador, decisions on countermeasures will be made in Moscow, and he did not want to comment on them.
