Poland Latvia and Lithuania in the face of European justice

In a context of hardening of migration policies in Europe, the illegal and muscular refoulement files of asylum seekers are multiplying before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). In January, in an unprecedented judgment, the Court had condemned Greece for this practice contrary to international law and the Geneva Convention relating to the status of refugees. Last month, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania appeared before this same courtyard for the same grievances: the illegal repression of asylum seekers at their borders. But unlike Greece, these three countries assume and justify the use of this practice however contrary to the law.
