To build your deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket, you need to base it on one or more elements. MeinMMO tells you which cards you need to use to build a darkness deck.
What are Eclipse Cards? The Darkness cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket are colored dark green. They often have mechanics where the opponent is poisoned. This causes the opponent to take 10 damage per round. At first glance, that’s not much. But if the match goes on for several rounds, it can become threatening.
A big special feature is that the opponent cannot recover from poison. For other status changes, there is a coin toss every round to see if the Pokémon recovers from the negative status effect. That doesn’t work with poison.
Another advantage is that a Darkness deck does more damage against Mewtwo. The Psychic Pokémon is currently included in one of the strongest decks.
To get to the deck you want more quickly, you can use the following table of contents:

The best decks in the darkness area work with smogmog. It is the only Dark Pokémon that has an ability. With Smogmog you can automatically poison the opposing Pokémon when Smogmog is in the active position.
Smogmog with Cerapendra
Which cards do I need? For this darkness deck you need the following cards:
What are the advantages and disadvantages? A good option is to combine Smogmog with Cerapendra. The Pokémon has been around since the Mysterious Island booster expansion and is a great addition because it does more damage if the active Pokémon is poisoned.
The attacks all require very few energy points, a maximum of 2. That’s why it’s quick to set up. At least if you have the right Pokémon in your hand. Cerapendra is a Stage 2 Pokémon, and it might take a while to get to the field.
Smogmog with Mew-ex
Which cards do I need? For this darkness deck you need to collect the following cards:
What are the advantages and disadvantages? Mew-ex is a brilliant counter to counter the strongest meta decks. This Pokémon also came into play with the new booster. Smogmog’s low energy cost allows the Dark-type Pokémon to do the groundwork in combination with Koga until Mew-ex comes into play.
Due to the darkness energy, Mew-ex cannot use Psycho Shot, but that is not necessary. Genome hacking is always a better choice and does not require any specific energy type. However, this attack requires more energy, making it difficult to deal much damage in the early game.
Alternatively, you can use Mew-ex to make your own deck. With the Psycho deck you have a good counterattack against many S-tier decks and are generally flexible. You can find the best options on MeinMMO: Pokémon TCG Pocket: Mew ex Deck – These are the strongest combinations
