An official announcement about the event with details is still missing. For a moment, trainers thought that the developers might have even forgotten about the top raids – however, players from the former time zone in New Zealand report that the top raid eggs with correspondingly long timers have now appeared (via reddit).
The eggs will open at 11am local time in New Zealand (11pm local time). By then at the latest it should be clear which boss is in the egg – should there not be an official announcement beforehand.
However, since there has not yet been a more precise announcement about the top raids, trainers are expecting the unleashed Hoopa to appear again as the boss of the top raids. At least so far, you could always challenge that when the top raids appeared.
