The event Visit from the Ultra Dimension is starting in Pokémon GO. It heralds the start of GO Fest 2024 and brings you lots of Ultra Beasts in advance.
What kind of event is this? The Visit from the Ultra Dimension event heralds the start of the big global GO Fest 2024, which will take place from July 13, 2024 to July 14, 2024. In keeping with this, you can already go hunting for the coveted Ultra Beasts in this event.
When does the event take place? The event will start on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. It will run until Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

Ultra beasts as far as the eye can see
Which Ultra Beasts are there in the event? During the event, you can find a different Ultra Beast in 5* raids every day. In addition, each Ultra Beast will receive a raid hour between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
All Ultra Beasts marked with * can also appear in their Shiny form.
What bonuses are there in the event? There are various bonuses within the event, some of which even extend beyond the event and will still be active during GO Fest 2024.
Temporary research: The event also includes free, limited-time research. This will reward you with encounters with the Pokémon that you can also find in raids during the event.
Global challenge: The event will also unlock a global challenge that all trainers worldwide must complete together. The challenge starts on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 1:00 a.m. The challenge can be completed by Friday, July 12, 2024 at 9:00 p.m.
If the global challenge is successfully completed, there are 2 rewards for all trainers. Firstly, team power will be charged faster in raid battles until July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. if you complete raids with team play.
On the other hand, there will be so-called Ultra Balls during GO Fest 2024. You will receive these if you want to catch Ultra Beasts. The balls will then make it easier to catch the Ultra Beasts.
Pokémon Wallpapers: If you catch certain Pokémon in the event after a raid battle, you have a chance of them receiving a special background. This will be visible when you look at the summary of your Pokémon.
This feature was previously only available to trainers who attended certain Pokémon GO live events.
Event ticket: You can purchase a ticket for the event for $5 (approximately €5). This is possible from Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. In addition to a limited-time research, the ticket also contains various raid bonuses.
This means that both the research and the bonuses will be usable during GO Fest 2024.
