For the new season, Pokémon GO has also adjusted the egg pools. Among other things, there is a change in the 10 km egg – an apparently unpopular monster disappears.
Here’s what’s going on in Pokémon GO: On December 1st, 2022, the new Mysterious Wishes season began in Pokémon GO.
Among other things, it brought new spawns, changed the raid bosses and launched some new bonuses. And some new Pokémon are now also in the eggs.
Some old friends can still be seen in the 10 km egg. Riolu is still there, as well as the coveted Galapaflos and Flapteryx or Viscora, which you can now also get in Research Breakthrough.
However, a monster has also disappeared from the pool: Lin-Fu has said goodbye to the 10 km eggs. And that pleases some trainers in the Pokémon GO subreddit “TheSilphRoad” (via reddit).
Lin-Fu is out – for Togedemaru
This changes now: Last at the lowest rarity of 10km Eggs were Flapteryx, Galapaflos, Wuffels, and Lin-Fu. Lin-Fu originally appeared in May 2021 as a reward from the PvP League in Pokémon GO, but could then also be found by hatching eggs.
However, it doesn’t have much use in Pokémon GO, and its evolution Wie-Shu is more of a Pokédex filler – it can’t shine in either raids or the PvP league. And it wasn’t particularly rare, like Flapteryx and Galapaflos until recently, either.
This may be why some Trainers saw the monster as rather weak compared to the other options in the 10k egg and are now happy.
However, one trainer notes that he regrets the loss – he hasn’t found a good one yet (via reddit). However, another responded that it was useless anyway (via reddit).
However, the Lin-Fu successor in the egg also causes skepticism at first – because Togedamaru is also rather useless in raids and is also overtaken by other monsters in the PvP league.
Here, coaches describe how there just seemed to be something less desirable in the 10K eggs. However, one says (via reddit): “From now on, I’d rather incubate Togedemaru from every single egg than see Lin-Fu again.”
