The Water Festival 2023 is coming to Pokémon GO. Two new Pokémon will be activated, a Global Challenge will be launched for you, and a Limited Research will be available for sale. We show you the details and bonuses here.
What is this event? The Water Events take place every year in Pokémon GO. Last year, the Pokémon Araqua made its debut in the game along with its evolution, Aranestro. Also this year there should be new Pokémon and exciting content for you.
A sandcastle Pokémon awaits you this time along with its evolution at the Water Festival “Beach Week”.
Water Event – Launch, Bonuses, Shinys, New Pokemon, and Research
When is the start? The water festival begins on June 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will be active until Monday, June 12 at 20:00 local time.
The new Pokemon: The Pokémon Sankabuh and its further development Colossand await you as new Pokémon. The development to Colossand costs you 50 candies.
What bonus is there? Rain Lure Modules last twice as long.
The global challenge: During the event period, Trainers around the world will work together on a challenge. The aim is to land a total of 300 million good throws. If the goal is reached, you will also receive the following bonuses until the end of the event:
Temporary research for €5: A ticket is available in the shop for around €5, which you can use to unlock limited research for the event. If you complete the tasks in it, you can unlock a surfer pose for your avatar and additional encounters with event Pokémon.
New Shiny: For the first time in Pokémon GO, you can encounter Shiny Scampisto!
Pokemon in the wild: During the event, you will encounter more Tentacha*, Muschas*, Krabby*, Alolan Kokowei*, Seeper*, Sterndu*, Marill*, Wingull*, Wailmer*, Seamops*, Finneon*, Lithomith*, Quabble* in the wilds and scampi*. With luck you will meet Mantax* and Robball. Pokemon we here with a star

Field research you receive during the event can bring you the following Pokémon: Scarfed Lapras*, Quabble*, Bithora*, Scampisto*, and Sankabuh. You can also get Mega Energy for Blaster and Sumpex.
