Pokémon GO: Sparkling Garden event starts on Saturday

On Saturday, August 5th, the Sparkling Garden event starts in Pokémon GO, where you can look forward to a new Shiny. We at MeinMMO show you which spawns and bonuses await you.

Which event is it about? In addition to the two live events for GO Fest in London and Osaka, you can also look forward to a global event from Saturday: Glittering Garden. This one is all about Grass and Fairy Pokémon, which can also be found during said live events. As a special highlight, Shiny-Lilminip will also make its worldwide debut.

When is the event running? The Sparkling Garden Event starts on August 5th, 2023 at 10:00 local time and runs until August 8th, 2023 at 20:00 local time. It can be played from anywhere in the world.

What new shinys are there? During the event, a new Shiny will make its debut in Pokémon GO: Lilminip. With a bit of luck, you’ll encounter the dazzling 5th-generation Grass-type Pokémon in the wild, in field research, or get it from a 2 km egg during this time. It will also appear more frequently in parks on Saturday, August 5th.

You can recognize the shiny by its yellow body. Once you’ve gotten a copy, you can also evolve it into Dresselia.

Wild monsters and daily Pokémon

In addition to Lilminip, you can meet other monsters in the wild. In addition, there will always be a specific daily Pokémon on the individual event days that spawns particularly frequently in parks. This is particularly worthwhile if you are on a Shiny hunt.

    Note that the content of the eggs is always based on the time of turning. Other monsters can hatch from eggs already in your bag.
