Pokémon GO reveals Squeaky for Community Day Classic in April 2023

Pokémon GO has released the Community Day Classic for April 2023. With Squeak he brings an absolute top attacker of the Ice & Ground types as well as some bonuses.

What is Community Day Classic? The Community Day Classic focuses on a special Pokémon for 3 hours, which then appears in all corners and ends of the game – basically like a normal Community Day.

The special thing about the “Classic” variant is that a Pokémon is brought that has already had a Community Day. April 2023 will be the Quiekel. After having its C-Day in February 2019, it is now returning.

Anyone who missed the event back then or only started the game afterwards can now make up for the squeaky day. It can be worth it, because its development Mamutel is one of the best attackers for raids in Pokémon GO.

In addition, there are a few bonuses. We summarize here what you can expect.

Community Day Classic with Quiekel – dates, content, bonuses

When does the Community Day Classic start? The event runs on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. So you have three hours to get the monster and the bonuses.

The classic version of the Community Day does not bring any special raids after the event. But a few other bonuses are on board.

All Squeaky Day Bonuses: On the one hand, Squeak will increasingly spawn in his Shiny variant. If you are still missing its development series as Shiny, this is your opportunity. This is what she looks like:

Other bonuses are:

  • Triple Catch Stardust
  • Three hours of smoke and lure module runtime during the event
  • “Ancient Power” attack for Mamutel if you evolve Keifel into Mamutel from the start of the event until 7:00 p.m.
  • Field Research around Squeak will yield Sinnoh Stones for development, as well as Stardust, Ultra Balls, and other rewards
  • A Timed Research also yields up to four Sinnoh Stones
  • There will be a ticket research for one euro in the shop
  • Snapshot Surprises
  • Is the event worth it? Mamutel is one of the top Ice-type attackers, its Crypto variant tops the list. It is also extremely strong as a ground attacker. So be sure to grab a powerful Mamutel if you don’t already have one – or the Candy needed to level up Crypto Mamutels.

If you already have enough Mamutel, you might be able to do without the day. However, the stardust bonus is also a good argument to play the event and secure the important resource.
