What is it about? The White Odyssey event is just around the corner in Pokémon GO. This will start on January 6th and will be active until January 10th. What is Wuffels all about? Wuffels is a rock-type Pokémon from the 7th generation. The special feature of Wuffels is that the development, Lycanroc, has 3 different forms that it can possess. These are the day form, the night form and the twilight form. So far only the first two forms were activated in Pokémon GO.

Not all Wuffels can evolve into Lycanroc’s twilight form
How do I get Wuffels in the event? During the event you have various options to obtain Wuffels. You can hatch it from 2km and 7km eggs, as well as from eggs received as Adventure Sync rewards from the current season.

You can also encounter Wuffels in 1* raids, as a reward through field research and in the second part of the Timeless Journeys special research.
How can I get Lycanroc in Twilight Form? To evolve Wuffels into Lycanroc’s twilight form, you cannot use older Wuffels that you have already caught before the event. Only specimens captured during the event can be evolved into Lycanroc’s twilight form.
However, not every Wuffel can be used here. Whether a Wuffels you received is suitable for this development is purely a coincidence. So if you want to make sure you can add Lycanroc in Twilight form to your collection, you may need to collect multiple Wuffels.
