In Pokémon GO, the “Happy Wishes” Limited Research is running to coincide with the 2023 Lunar New Year event. We’ll show you all the tasks and rewards and what the three different paths bring.

What is this research? The Lunar New Year 2023 event brings a lot of content and bonuses. This content includes a Timed Research where you can choose one of the rewards yourself. The research will be active from January 19 at 10:00 local time and will last until January 23 at 20:00 local time.

Here we show you an overview of all the tasks of the “Happy Wishes” research and which Pokémon and item rewards you get there. We also show you which possible paths you can take and what the rewards look like.

Tier Reward: If you complete all three tasks and get the respective rewards, you will also receive 500 stardust, 500 experience points and a lucky egg.

After completing the first chapter, you can choose one of three paths.

  • Yellow (Hatch Eggs): The distance required to hatch eggs is halved
  • Red (Daily Smoke): The Daily Adventure Smoke lasts twice as long
  • Blue (Capture Stardust): Catching Pokemon earns you twice as much Stardust

    • By choosing you determine a bonus for you, but also one of the tasks and a reward for the next chapter. Check them out so you can decide which path best suits you and your playstyle.

  • If you complete all tasks successfully and get the respective rewards, you will also receive an encounter with Flampion*, 25 Hyper Balls and a reward according to the path you have chosen.
  • Yellow Path: An incubator
  • Red Path: 10 Golden Raspberries
