The first raids with Regidrago in Pokémon GO did not go according to plan at all. That’s why the game is launching an event in May that will bring back the top raids with Regidrago. We show you the date and the content here.
What is this event? May’s event will again unlock top raids with Regidrago for an afternoon. Trainers around the world will have another chance to fight and then catch the Pokémon.
Niantic has now publicly apologized to the trainers on Twitter.
Top Raids with Regidrago in May
When is this running? The replacement event will run on Saturday, May 13, 2023. At 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM local time you will find top raids featuring Regidrago on arenas.
For trainers in the GMT+13 time zones (this partly applies to players from New Zealand), there will be a special free bundle in the shop from May 12th at 11:00 a.m. to May 13th at 6:00 p.m . This includes 3 Premium Battle Passes and 2 Silver Sanaberries.
What does Niantic say? The team wrote on Twitter that they apologize to the coaches for the inconvenience caused during Regidrago’s first appearance in March. Due to the technical issues with the event, this replacement event will now take place in May.
There should also be a limited research for you at the event in May. Even if you have already completed this, you can take part in it. Two exclusive Timed Researches can be found from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They reward you with candies for Regirock, Regice and Registeel.
