In Pokémon GO there are different types of eggs that you can hatch. But which Pokémon are in it and how can you even get them? We at MeinMMO have looked at it and are explaining it to you.

What kind of eggs are these? In Pokémon GO you can not only catch Pokémon, but also collect and hatch different eggs. These differ not only in their hatching distance and color, but also in their contents.

Depending on the egg, you can meet a wide variety of Pokémon, some of which are very rare. There are the following eggs:

How do you get the eggs? In order to secure an egg, you just need enough space in your egg storage. This includes a maximum of 12 slots, with the last three reserved for 12km eggs and Adventure Sync eggs.

You can then get the eggs in various ways, for example by turning the photo disc at PokéStops or arenas.

We have Pokémon that, with a bit of luck, you can also get in their shiny form, with an asterisk

marked. You have to pay attention to this:

Various events repeatedly change the egg pool for short periods of time and supplement it with other Pokémon. It is therefore possible that the egg contents differ at certain times.

All monsters from 2 km eggs

  • You can get the 2 km eggs by turning the photo disc at PokéStops and Arenas. You can recognize them by the green spots on their shell. According to The Silph Road’s statistics, these are the most common eggs compared to the 5 and 10 km eggs. The following Pokémon are currently waiting for you:
  • Wablu*
  • Mobai*
  • Leufeo*
  • lice*
  • duck*
  • Pii*
  • Isso*
  • Ignivor*

    All monsters from 5km eggs

  • You can also get 5 km eggs by pressing the photo disc at PokéStops and Arenas. However, these are somewhat rarer compared to the 2 km eggs. You can recognize the 5 km eggs by their orange pattern. You can look forward to the following Pokémon from these eggs:
  • Koalelu*
  • Zebritz*
  • Perlu*
  • Iscalar*
  • Ignivor*
  • Chimpep
  • Oops
  • Memmeon

All monsters from 7 km eggs

In contrast to the eggs with a hatching distance of 2, 5 and 10 kilometers, you do not get the 7 km eggs by turning photo disks, but by opening gifts. Here, too, you must of course have enough free space in your egg storage.

So all you have to do is go to your friends list and open a friend’s gift. Unlike the other eggs, the 7km eggs have a yellow shell and pink spots. So they are easy to recognize.

  • According to Niantic, the following Pokémon are currently in the 7 km eggs that you receive from gifts from friends:
  • Galar Meowth*
  • Galar Flamion*
  • Alola Meowth*
  • Alola Slima*
  • Hisui Voltobal*
  • Hisui Baldorfish*
  • bar scoundrel*

  • You can also get special 7km eggs from the gifts you receive from Mateo at the end of a completed route. The following monsters hatch from these in the current season:
  • Galar Porenta
  • Galar Corasonn*
  • Bar Villain (White-lined / Red / Blue)*
  • Pam-Pam*

The contents of the various 7 km eggs are thematically changed for some events. This means that certain event Pokémon will hatch from eggs that you receive during these periods. We will inform you of these changed contents via our respective event announcements here on MeinMMO. So it’s worth checking back regularly.

All monsters from 10 km eggs

  • Just like the 2 and 5 km eggs, you can also get the 10 km eggs by rotating PokéStops and Gyms. These eggs can be identified by their purple spots. However, they not only have one of the longest hatching distances, but also have one or two special Pokémon ready for you that you rarely find in the game, such as:
  • Shardrago*
  • Ignivor*
  • Rocara
  • Viscora*
  • Miniras*
  • Grudgedra
  • Knarbon
  • Frospino

All monsters from 12 km eggs

Another special feature are the red-patterned 12 km eggs in Pokémon GO. You can only get these as a reward from the fights against the Team GO Rocket bosses Sierra, Arlo, Cliff and their leader Giovanni.

  • Some of the monsters that are in the eggs are correspondingly rare. Some of these Pokémon, such as Gladiantri, Ganovil or Molunk, can only be obtained by hatching eggs. You can find the following monsters there:
  • Larvitar*
  • crook*
  • Gladiantri*
  • Skallyk*
  • Kapuno*
  • Pam-Pam*
  • Molunk
  • Knattox

Eggs from the Adventure Sync Rewards

If you walk a lot within a week, Pokémon GO will reward you with additional eggs. These are 5 km eggs and 10 km eggs, which you receive when you have covered a distance of 25 km or 50 km.

  • There are a few different Pokémon to be found in these eggs than in the normal eggs. So you have the chance to meet the following monsters there:
  • 5 km: Panzaeron*, Riolu*, Mampfaxo*, Balgoras*, Amarino*
  • 10 km: Psiau*, Knarbon, Tortunator, Miniras*, Frospino

How do you find the monsters that you can find in each egg? Which ones do you most like to look out for? And which monsters would you like to see in the eggs in the future?
