What kind of event is it? At the beginning of June, the big GO Fest 2022 took place in Pokémon GO, where you could participate from anywhere in the world. Now there will also be three live events in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo.
In addition to numerous spawns and bonuses that ticket holders can look forward to on site, Niantic has now also announced new ultra beasts and other special features. We’ll show you where you can meet which beast and what else awaits you at the live event in Berlin.
What are Ultra Beasts? The Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon. These come from another dimension and get into the known world of Pokémon GO with the help of Ultragates.
When does the GO Fest take place in Berlin? The GO Fest in Berlin runs on the weekend of July 1st to 3rd in the Britzer Garden. In order to be able to participate, you can buy a ticket for one of the event days.
Ultra beast Schabelle at the GO Fest in Berlin
You already had the opportunity to catch an Ultra Beast in Pokémon GO at the big GO Fest 2022. Anego made its debut in the special research on Sunday and in the level 5 raids. Now Niantic is doing it again and giving you the chance to get more of these special monsters.
In total, there will be three different Ultra Beasts during the GO Fest 2022 live events, one per venue. You can find the following there:

Can you get the Ultra Beasts without a ticket? For now, the three Ultra Beasts will only be available for the live events and thus for ticket holders. However, Niantic has already announced that they will also be made available to all players over the course of the Season of GO.
How do you get the Ultra Beasts? According to current information, the Ultra Beasts are to be captured using a special ball from Special Research. Whether there are other ways to secure copies is not yet known.
What is that special ball? As a recent find by the Pokéminers has already shown, a new ball has been deposited in the game code. This Ultra Ball is designed for catching Ultra Beasts.
As Pokémon GO has now confirmed on their blog, this will be made available to participants in the live events for the first time. As part of a special research, they can catch the corresponding ultra beast with the ultra ball.
What kind of monster is Schabelle?
Schabelle is an Ultra Beast from the 7th generation of games that belongs to the Bug and Fighting types. You can recognize Schabelle by its white, long, delicate body and long feelers. It has no advance or further development.
You’ll be able to encounter this Ultra Beast for the first time in Pokémon GO during GO Fest in Berlin. According to current information, a dazzling version will not be available for the time being.
