Pokémon GO brings you cool new monsters and characters for the Horizons event

At the start of the new season, the Pokémon Horizons: The Series event awaits you in Pokémon GO, which brings you cool new monsters and characters. We have summarized what content you can expect from the event here on MeinMMO.

What event is it about? In Pokémon GO, the new season World Full of Wonders is already in the starting blocks and brings you the event Pokémon Horizons: The Series right at the beginning. This is a collaboration with the television series of the same name, which can be found on the Toggo television channel.

In this, the two main characters Liko and Rory explore the Paldea region. The starter Pokémon Felori, Kwaks and Krokel in particular play a crucial role, which is why you can also get hold of them at the event in Pokémon GO. In addition, three new monsters are making their debut. We’ll show you below which spawns and bonuses are also planned.

When is the Pokémon Horizons: The Series event running? The Pokémon Horizons: The Series event starts on March 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time and is active until March 11, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Knarbon, Crimanzo and Azuglaris make their debut

What kind of Pokémon are these? You can meet Knarbon for the first time during the Horizonte event. This is a fire-type Pokémon from the Paldea region that can evolve into either Crimanzo or Azuglaris. To trigger the evolution, you have to take it as a buddy and fight against 30 Psychic-type Pokémon or 30 Ghost-type Pokémon, depending on what you want to evolve.

How do you get Knarbon? In order to secure the new Pokémon, you have to hatch eggs diligently. It is hiding alongside other monsters for the event in the 2, 5 and 10 km eggs. After that you can still secure it in the 10 km eggs. Unfortunately, it is not yet available as shiny.

More debuts in the game

Costumed Pikachu: Another monster that you can find for the first time in a new disguise is Pikachu. He wears a captain’s hat to the event and also learns the exclusive attack Volttackle.

New characters: In keeping with the series, the two main characters will also play a role during the event. So you can meet Liko and Rory in snapshots.
