Pokémon GO brings 9 new Pokémon from tomorrow – what makes them special?

In Pokémon GO, the next part of the Hyperbonus starts with more new Pokémon. We present them to you here.

What kind of event is this? After the Paldea adventure started right at the start of the new season, the second part now follows called Hyperbonus: Paldea.

The event starts on Sunday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, September 15th at 8:00 p.m.

Not only are great bonuses like quadruple XP and stardust still active, but there are also new Pokémon debuts.

Four Pokémon and their evolutions appear, giving you a total of 9 new monsters to add to your Pokédex. We’ll introduce them to you here.

These are the 9 new monsters in Pokémon GO

Here you can see all 9 monsters in the graphic in one go:

But what makes these monsters so special?

Mickrick and Lextremo

Micrick is of the Beetle type and can evolve into Lextremo. Lextremo gets the dark type on top.

You’ll be able to find Micrick in the wild, which should make it easier to get the candies for Lextremo. In total you need 50 candies for development. The shiny version will not be in the game yet.

But the catch is still worth it, because Micrick will be able to take part in showcases during the event. So here you should try to get a good copy for the competitions.

Pamo, Pamamo and Pamomamo

Pamo gets two developments at once.

  • For Pamamo you need 25 candies.
  • For Pamomamo you need 100 candies. However, you have to run 25 kilometers with Pamamo beforehand.
  • This makes it a relatively run-intensive monster that may take some time to get the final evolution. After all, it appears in the wild and can be collected, and there will also be research tasks for it.

Similar to Micrick, the Shiny is not yet available, but Pamo is also a candidate for showcases during the event. The same applies here: catch a good competition specimen if possible.

    Adebom

The stork-like Pokémon has no development, but it has a different quality: you can get it as Shiny from the start. So this is an exciting Pokémon for anyone looking for shiny monsters.

However, there is one downer: the Pokémon will not spawn in the wild, but will appear in the raids. It will move into Tier 3 raids alongside Tortunator and Axantor. So this is where you have to tackle the fight if you want the monster.

    Frospino, Cryospino, Espinodon

This evolution series is currently the most exciting Pokémon in the event, as Espinodon has the potential to become one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. It is one of the pseudo-legendary Pokémon, i.e. monsters that are not legendary but are still extremely strong.

You need 25 candies to evolve from Frospino to Cryospino, and then another 100 for Espinodon.

However, it is still unclear how well they will be collected. Because: In the official announcement, the monster is only announced as a spawn with luck in the wild. This suggests that it will appear noticeably less frequently than other monsters. After the event it will then hatch from 10 km eggs.

Here, some players fear a situation like the one before with Kaumalat or Milza: a powerful monster that is rarely encountered.

However, this will only become apparent once the event starts. What do you think of the new monsters? Tell us in the comments.
