Arlo, Cliff, Sierra and Giovanni have new Pokémon with them. Which bosses are now worthwhile in Pokémon GO?
Team GO Rocket is back: The villains have hijacked Pokémon GO once again. A new Rocket takeover is currently underway – and with it not only the bullies, but also the Rocket bosses are getting new Pokémon.
Sierra, Arlo, Cliff and the main villain Giovanni have changed their line-ups and are now bringing other monsters with them.

Arlo with Crypto-Tanhel
One thing is clear: Arlo is likely to be one of the most challenged bosses in the next few weeks. Because Crypto-Tanhel can develop into the sought-after Crypto-Metagross.
Metagross is generally a top attacker in Pokémon GO, but Crypto-Metagross is even more powerful. The only important thing is that you take away his attack “Frustration” while the Rocket Takeover is still running.
Metagross also has a Mega form, which is not yet in the game. Nevertheless: it will come at some point. And then a redeemed Crypto-Tanhel could be the way to use a really strong specimen for this purpose.
Sierra with Crypto Trasla
You can basically use the same text here as in Arlo. Gardevoir is an absolute top attacker with the Fairy type and can do even more damage as a Crypto variant.
In addition, Gardevoir’s Mega Evolution is already in the game. Here too, you can use a redeemed Crypto to have a good copy that costs fewer resources to upgrade.
Giovanni with Crypto-Heatran
When Heatran came into the game, it was pushed aside a bit because it wasn’t a particularly strong attacker. But that has now changed significantly – Heatran, as a normal variant, is currently one of the best fire attackers.
And Crypto Heatran? This even makes it into the top 4.
In the current list of the best fire attackers, Crypto Heatran is only surpassed by Mega Charizard Y, Mega Blaze and Proto Groudon. So: The monster is worth it.
Cliff with Crypto Galar Zigzagoon
Cliff is perhaps the least interesting boss at the moment, because Galar Zigzach and its developments are a bit weaker than the monsters of his Rocket colleagues.
But firstly, Galar Zigzagogs, Geradaks and Barrikadax have cool shinys, and secondly, Galar Geradaks and Barrikadax definitely have a place in PvP in Pokémon GO. They are also suitable as a rocket counterattack.
Accordingly, you can definitely secure one or two copies here.
In addition to the Rocket takeover, the regular “Galar Expedition” event is currently running, which primarily revolves around the Galar birds. More precisely: about the dazzling versions of the three legends, which are, however, almost impossible to catch. They are all characterized by their very high rarity.
