Pokémon GO: Art of Catching is the first event in March 2023

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

In Pokémon GO, you can expect a catch arts event right at the beginning of the new month. We at MeinMMO show you which spawns and bonuses you can look forward to at this event and tell you which shinys you can get with a bit of luck.

Which event is it about? The start of March and the new season, the Rising Heroes season, are just around the corner and will be heralded by Pokémon GO with a one-day arts of capture event.

The focus is on catching fighting Pokémon, which is why the spawns are adjusted accordingly. We have summarized for you below which monsters await you and which bonuses there will be.

When is the event running? The Fangkunst event runs on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Fighting Pokemon for Catch Art Event – All Spawn and Bonuses

The Pokémon of the day: Similar to a Community Day, the Art of Catching event will also focus on specific Pokémon. So you can meet Rabauz and his further developments Kicklee, Nockchan and Kapoera on this day. In the following overview we show you which of the monsters you encounter where:

  • In the wilderness: Kicklee & Nockchan
  • 7km Eggs: bully
  • Event Field Research: capoera
  • With a bit of luck you will be able to catch all of them in their dazzling forms. You can see what the shinys look like in the following picture:

Rabauz, Kapoera, Kicklee and Nockchan normal (above) and as Shiny (below)

Special event bonuses: In addition to the four fighting Pokémon, you can also look forward to a few bonuses during the short event:

  • double XP when catching monsters with a good, great, or fabulous curveball
  • increased shiny chance on Kicklee, Nockchan and Kapoera
  • Event field research where you have to prove your throwing skills
  • Limited research around your accuracy when throwing
  • Who should use the event? The event is particularly interesting for all shiny hunters, because the chances of a dazzling specimen are increased for three of the four Pokémon on this day. If you want to secure one of them, you should definitely take advantage of the event.

But the XP bonus is also impressive. If you catch your monsters with a curveball thrown good, great, or fabulous, you’ll get double the experience points. If you catch a lot that day and have a talent for throwing, you will get a little closer to your goal of level 50.

Rabauz and his further developments are not particularly strong, which is why they do not play a special role in the GO battle league and in raids. If you are looking for a strong Pokémon for the raids, you should rather rely on one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. We show you a selection in the following video:
