Some of those who fell ill on Tuesday evening after eating suspected poisoned cookies belong to the same family. Both the children and the father in the family ate the cookies, but were home from the hospital again on Friday.
All were tired and rested.
At the time of the suspected poisoning, the mother in the household was temporarily visiting a relative in Karlskrona.
Suddenly, she received information that police and paramedics were at the home address.
– I then tried to call my children. But no one answered. I hurried home. I was terrified of what had happened, she says.
The mother: “They were knocked out”
According to the mother, the family and other guests must have eaten a pancake-like cake.
– When I later saw my family again, I first thought they were all dead. They were completely knocked out and asleep.
When SVT visited the family today, several of the victims were still tired after the incident.
– But they are on the road to recovery, says the mother.
A man in his 20s has been arrested since Thursday on suspicion of aggravated assault.
The man is suspected of having been the one who offered the party the cookies.
