Owners of a motor boat damaged by a fire Saturday night at a Point Edward marina suffered minor injuries, says the village’s fire service.
Point Edward Fire and Rescue reported firefighters were called out at about 11:15 pm to the Bridgeview Marina, where they found a 42-foot motor board “fully engulfed in flames.”
The owners were treated at the scene by Lambton paramedics, the fire service said in a social media post.

“The fire was quickly knocked down and crews remained on scene checking for hot spots,” the fire service said.
“No other injuries were reported and crews cleared around 3 am”
The cause of the fire was being investigated, the fire service said.
