Pohjanpalos sixth goal of the season in Serie A

Joel Pohjanpalo scored when Venezia drew 1-1 away with Parma in the Italian Serie A.

The match finally ended in a 1–1 draw, when Venezia’s topper Antonio Candela ripped an opponent’s shirt in the penalty area in the second half, and Parma’s Brazilian player Hernani did the same for the comma to end numbers 1–1.

Pohjanpalo’s streak hit was the sixth of the season. His eight-game goalless streak ended in a 1-1 draw against Empoli on the 4th of January. In the 0–1 loss game against Inter a week ago, Huuhkajie’s attacker missed the last goal.

Parma won the match scoring attempts 19–7 and corner kicks 8–2, but the home team didn’t have much to do with the top spots. The goalkeeper of Venezia Filip Stankovic made seven saves in the fight.
