Podcast Palace Lofen The palace is open again

In, finally. At the Vismarkt we go through the gate with the name Paleis Lofen. The Imperial Palace stood over the full length of the current Café Restaurant Graaf Floris to interior design shop Rachmaninoff. In front of the gate is the memorial stone, installed in 2010 with an image of the old city and the text: ‘Bisschop Godebald granted Utrecht city rights on 2 June 1122. Emperor Henry the Fifth confirmed the city rights in the Lofen Palace behind it.’
