PNRR Fittos warning some projects unfeasible by 2026

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – The Government’s work on the PNRR continues after the definitive go-ahead from Parliament to the PNRR decree, which helps to strengthen and enhance the dialogue with the social partnerstransferring to PNRR control room – political guidance body which coordinates and gives impetus to the implementation of the Plan – the interlocutions previously assigned to the Technical Table.

Today was the turn of the social walls: six sectoral tables attended by Confindustria, Ance, Confedilizia, Abi, Ania, Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Cia, Unsic, Copagri, Federterziario, Confetra, Confservizi, Confprofessioni, Assoprofessioni, Confapi, Confimi, Confcommercio, Confesercenti, Federdistribuzione, Alleanza Cooperative, Unicoop, Confartigianato , Cna, Casartigiani, Cgil, Cisl, Uil, Ugl, Confsal, Cisal, Usb.

“With today’s meetings of the Control Room with representatives of companies and trade unions let’s give a first concrete answer to the provisions of the decree. As a method we have set up a series of specific sector tables to enter into the merits of the issues and guarantee everyone adequate times for the discussion”, explained the Minister Raffaele Fitto at the end of the meetings that took place this afternoon at Palazzo Chigi.

The Minister also has mapped out the roadmap and timing for the coming months. “We are working hard to verify the interventions and any corrective measures both on the REPowerEU chapter and on the entire Plan. We believe it is our duty to do so immediately, also with your involvement”, said Fitto to the representatives of companies and trade unions, with whom he intends to continue the dialogue , in view of the presentation of theupdate of the PNRR to the European Commission by August 31st.

We are working to achieve this result as soon as possible: we are proceeding rapidly with the awareness of the importance of having to take up this great challenge for the country”, guaranteed the Minister, recalling that next week there will be information on the PNRR in Parliament and subsequently the presentation of the six-monthly report.

meanwhile, tomorrow April 21, Minister Raffaele Fitto will hold a series of meetings with government officialsthe Minister of Infrastructure Matthew Salvinithe Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosithe Minister of Education Joseph Vallettara and the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgettiin relation to the formalities envisaged for the positive verification by the European Commission of the 55 objectives expiring on 31 December 2022.

In detail, the latest obligations envisaged in relation to port concessions, Integrated Urban Plans and implementing decrees on the reform of local public services will be defined. During the meetings some aspects related to the deadlines of 30 June 2023 will also be addressed.
