(Finance) – “The sixth visit of the company ended positively today European Commission dedicated to in-depth analysis of the issues relating to the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of Italy, with a focus reserved for measures strategic connected to the last four installments of the Plan. At the end of further forty tables of work, divided between high-level institutional meetings and technical update sessions planned for individual topics, coordinated by the PNRR mission structure of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with the active participation of the relevant ministries and institutions, the European Commission delegation has verified the constant commitment shown by the Italian Government in the implementation of the numerous measures envisaged by the Plan”. This is what we read in a note from Palazzo Chigi.

“During meetingsmaximum attention was paid to target and at milestones connected to the seventh installment of the PNRR, also in view of the presentation of the related payment request, while the final verification activity of the objectives included in the sixth installment is being concluded, in order to allow its consequent disbursement”, continues the note.

“As on previous occasions, the visit of the European Commission was held in an atmosphere of constructive collaborationwith the active participation of all the administrations involved in the implementation which allowed us to promptly define the state of progress of the reforms and investments, responding to all requests for clarification from the European Commission Services”, underlined Palazzo Chigi.

“During the week, the objectives were illustrated in relation to the progress of the reforms relating to competitionat the justiceal procurement code and to public administration; the latter envisages horizontal interventions, in the various Missions of the Plan, for the digitalisation of administrative procedures and for a more efficient and competitive country system – explained Palazzo Chigi -. Particular attention was dedicated to verifying the implementation status of numerous investments in the transport, infrastructure, school buildings, sustainable mobility, ecological transition and health sectors, with the plan for the redevelopment of health services and infrastructures. hospitals”.

“There was also a focus dedicated to the measures of the new REPowerEU mission, aimed at strengthening the nation’s energy autonomy and ecological transition – he added –. The objectives linked to energy security, the strengthening of networks and the energy, the increase in production from renewable sources, the incentives for the decarbonisation of companies, as well as the support of energy-related production chains, in line with the indications contained in the Commission’s Guidelines”.

“The visit of the European Commission concluded, in the early afternoon of today, with a meeting at theNational Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), for a comparison on the measure connected to the activation of an integrated network of cyber risk management and mitigation services to support the PA and national industry, and on that linked to the operational plan of monitoring activities for the purposes of “adoption of safety measures in line with the relevant legislation”.
