(Finance) – The Superintendency of Public Works for Lazio, Abruzzo and Sardinia, operational arm of the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility (Mims), has launched the first tender procedure for the award of works financed by PNRR for the benefit of Ministry of Justice.
The intervention, for an amount of over 3.6 million eurosconcerns theenergy efficiency of the Juvenile Court of Cagliariand is managed by the Superintendency of Public Works as Implementing Body on behalf of the Administration of Justice, holder of the loan.
The swift completion of the European tender for the design service, of the design verification and of the project approval procedure, allowed to start the procedure for choosing the contractor well in advance of the time schedule planned. This will allow for the stipulation of the legally binding obligation (OGV) by September of the current year, well before the milestone provided for by the PNRR which is by 31 December 2023.
Mims, through the Regional Office (Coordinated Headquarters of Cagliari) of the Provveditorato alle OO.PP. for Lazio, Abruzzo and Sardinia, in compliance with the key principle of Next Generation Eu “Do No Significant Harm“(DNSH), the design objective was set to ensure high energy efficiency of the plant systems and low thermal dispersion of the building envelope in order to reduce management costs, allowing primary energy savings, in harmony with the NZEB principle “Near Zero Energy Building“(Nearly zero energy building, according to national directives), and have at least 70% reuse / recycling / recovery of demolition and removal waste.
