PNRR Giorgetti Goals at risk to worsen international scenarios

(Finance) – “The worsening of international scenarios could jeopardize the achievement of some objectives included in the NRP”. The said Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, during hearing in the joint production activities committees of the Chamber and Industry of the Senate on the implementation of the NRP.

In this context Giorgetti addressed a appeal to entrepreneurs. “Economic development is not done by the State, not by the Ministry but by entrepreneurs. We need – said Giorgetti – people who believe in it and who put their wallet and commitment of their lives into it and this is the time. investment, public but also private. The State and the Mise want to be at the side of all entrepreneurs who want to do so in these very complicated times “.

On the front of the transport Giorgetti highlighted that “the PNRR foresees 4 billion euros for the renewal of the bus fleet therefore – said the minister – we create 4 billion of demand with public funds. But if the offer is foreign, we are financing the economic development of other countries. Of course we reach the goal of having ecological buses – added the minister – but the added value is made elsewhere. This is why we work to ensure that there are national players who produce buses capable of winning the tenders announced by local authorities “.

For theautomotive – Giorgetti explained – “we intend to restore incentives that do not exhaust their effects in the short term as soon as possible. Today the decree that provided important allocations for the automotive sector was finally published in the Official Gazette and meetings are already scheduled in the next few days. between the Ministry of Economic Development, the MITE, the MIMs and the Mef to define the framework of the incentives. So that they become as soon as possible, compatibly with the times of the Italian bureaucracy, something usable for consumers “.
