Plenitude is the main sponsor of La Vuelta 24

(Finance) – For the third consecutive year, fullness, Benefit Company controlled by Eni, will be the main sponsor of La Vuelta 24one of the most important cycling races in the world. In addition, this year the company is Energy Partner as it will ensure the recharging of the electric vehicles that will accompany the riders of La Vuelta 24. Now in its 79th edition, The Vuelta will include 21 stages along a 3,265 kilometre route, between Spain and Portugal, which will start on August 17th from Lisbon to conclude in Madrid on September 8th.

Once again Plenitude will be the sponsor of the “Maglia Bianca” awarded to the best young cyclist of each stage. Since its first appearance in the Vuelta, in 2019, the Maglia Bianca has been worn by some of the best cyclists, such as Slovenian Tadej Pogacar or Spaniard Enric Mas. This jersey, which marks a new stage in the careers of future cycling stars, also confirms Plenitude’s focus on the new generations. The company also shares with La Vuelta 24 and the “Maglia Bianca” fundamental values ​​in sport such as commitment, perseverance and passion.

Furthermore, for the third consecutive year Óscar Freire to be Plenitude’s ambassador during La Vuelta 24. The company will offer all fans the unique opportunity to meet the Spanish cycling legend at each stage. Finally, for the 2024 edition, Plenitude will also sponsor the plates of the riders’ bicycles that will be put up for grabs in a competition dedicated to fans. At the end of each stage, in fact, followers of the official X account of La Vuelta will be able to participate in the drawing of the plate autographed by the winner of the day.

The partnership between Plenitude and La Vuelta this year does not stop at sponsorship, but goes further thanks to the “Energy for each stage” initiative, a project that will enhance Spain’s rural heritagethrough events that will involve local communities.

Plenitude has selected, in fact, five villages along the route of La Vuelta 24, where short films will be made that aim to capture the images of the people present during the race, highlighting the energy released in each stage by their enthusiasm and passion. Like in an open-air cinema, these films will be projected in the local sports fields, the “frontones”.

At the end of the Vuelta, all the audiovisual material collected will be turned into a documentary which will be published on the company’s website and on its official social channels to demonstrate the fact that in every corner of the country there is an energy that awaits
to be discovered and shared with the world.
