Playstation State of Play: watch tonight’s announcements live

Playstation State of Play watch tonights announcements live

This Wednesday, Sony is back to play a very good trick on us. Playstation is organizing a new State of Play, a broadcast of about twenty minutes oriented around the next releases on PS5 and PS4.

[Mis à jour le 9 mars 2022 à 16h51] The Playstation is known for its talented exclusives and creative development studios. An empire that Sony has built over the years from Japan and all over the world. As a result, the Playstation 5 is currently the most sought-after console, ahead of its competitor from Microsoft in its relative success. To continue the excellent momentum of its new console, and perpetuate the success of the PS4, Playstation has planned a State of Play this Wednesday at 11 p.m. This 20-minute broadcast will be exclusively dedicated to future releases on Sony’s two consoles, an opportunity for gamers to learn more about certain games planned for 2022 and beyond. All info.

What to expect tonight?

Tonight’s State of Play will be, in Sony’s words, solely dedicated to upcoming video game releases: “For about 20 minutes, we’ll highlight upcoming titles from some of your favorite Japanese publishers, but that’s not all! We will also share some announcements from developers around the world.” On the other hand, we should not expect news of the PSVR 2 virtual reality system, since the manufacturer has explicitly specified that it will not be discussed this evening. The manufacturer has also renewed its warning about streams and restreams of the broadcast which may be subject to copyright.

On the video game side, we can expect news from big Japanese studios like Capcom and Square Enix. One could hope there for news of street fighter 6 and of Resident Evil 4 Remake Capcom side, and Forspoken and Final Fantasy XVI Square Enix side. But the biggest question still surrounds the output ofHogwarts Legacy, the open-world RPG in the Harry Potter universe whose release is still scheduled for the year 2022, and of which we have seen very few images since its announcement a little over a year ago . Maybe news from our favorite wizarding school tonight?
