PlayStaion Plus Essential is the new name of the PS Plus subscription system, where players can regularly access free games every month. Players will continue to have access to the free games every month for as long as they continue their PlayStaion Plus Essential subscription (or higher subscription package). In other words, when their subscription ends, they will not be able to play the free games they have added to their library until they renew their subscription.
PlayStaion Plus subscribers can request last month’s free games until July 4th. The free games for June are God Of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon Alt-Star Brawl.
