MediaMarkt now has the first PlayStation 5 deal that really saves you money. The Amazon competitor is currently selling a bundle with the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy for only 569 euros. Since the RRP of the console with drive alone is 549 euros and Hogwarts Legacy costs around 70 euros individually, you save 50 euros with the bundle. It pays to be quick, because the bundle can be sold out again at any time.

Despite controversy: Hogwarts Legacy is an absolute bestseller
If you can even begin to identify with Harry Potter, then you’ve probably dreamed of attending the fantastic magic school yourself. Hogwarts Legacy allows you to something that hasn’t been possible in any Harry Potter game before: You create your own character and can even choose which house you belong to.
The game lets you explore Hogwarts freely according to your own snout and develop your very own magic tactics in exciting magical duels. Our colleagues from GamePro were enthusiastic and rated the game with 89 points. GameStar referred to Hogwarts Legacy as “the perfect Harry Potter game“. No wonder Hogwarts Legacy has already sold millions of copies.
However, the game is not entirely undisputed: Harry Potter creator JK Rowling has been under criticism for years for not only speaking out against trans people, but also for supporting anti-trans policies. You can read more about this here, among other things.
For Harry Potter grouches, there’s another strong PS5 offering
If you really have nothing to do with the sorcerer’s apprentice with the lightning scar or don’t want to support JK Rowling financially: it’s worth taking a look at the PlayStation 5 Bundle with God of War Ragnarok. In the sequel to the award-winning God of War reboot, you delve into Norse mythology with the demigod Kratos.
GamePro and GameStar each gave it an incredible 93 points. Amazon offers the PS5 in a bundle with God of War Ragnarök for 619 euros.

The cheapest is the Playstation 5 in the Digital Edition
Still too much money? The cheapest version of the PlayStation 5 is the Digital Edition, which does without an optical drive. A whopping 100 euros can be saved compared to the Disc Edition. Whether you need the drive or not is more a question of philosophy and taste. All games are available both on disc and digitally on the PlayStation Store.
Anyone who likes to present physical games in the cupboard or wants to keep the option open of selling the games later should go for the PS5 with a drive. The integrated Blu-ray drive is also extremely practical for film lovers. For everyone else, the Digital Edition is more than sufficient.
