What is the start -up package? The start -up package was acquired for multiversus until 14th Feburar in 2023. The package included exclusive advantages such as the in-game currency, premium battle passes and exclusive items. In return, players had to pay a price of around 100 euros.
Part of the start -up package were 30 coins. These coins could be exchanged for new characters that were gradually added.
Why are there complaints? Many players still have coins. By ending the game with Season 5, you do not get the opportunity to spend all coins.
As a user writes on Reddit, only 12 characters came out after he bought the start -up package. Thus, more than half of his coins remain unused. Other users write that you would have paid for something that was not delivered.
Even the players who bought the start -up package right from the start are said to have had a hard time spending all coins. With Season 5, 2 new characters are added, which makes the roster rise to a total of 35 characters. 5 of them were playable from the start, which is why buyers of the start -up package had to spend their coin for every characters to get rid of everyone.
But there are also players who see Warner Bros. right. After all, the buyers would have received the 30 coins, as was described in the package. There was never talk of buying 30 characters.
