Flairs are a decorative way to customize your favorite cards in Pokémon TCG: Pocket. Up to four different effects can be unlocked for one card. A player on Reddit has now discovered a flair that he has rarely seen in others.
What kind of flair did the user find? User not_a_m0d shares in his thread on Reddit that he found a cool vibe that he wasn’t sure if many would know. This is a flair that covers your map with small Poké Balls.
He discovered the flair when he took a closer look at the Poké Ball card. He noticed that you could easily buy the Pokéball cards, which you need to unlock the flair, in the shop for 2 tickets each. So if you have a Poké Ball card, you only have to invest 6 shop tickets to purchase 3 more cards and exchange them for the flair. not_a_m0d shares this insight with the community.
“I have no regrets about this use of resources.”
What does the community think about this? Many players in the comments are happy about the tip and follow his advice. However, some need far more resources than the 6 shop tickets, as the flair is not the first thing that can be unlocked for every player.
Which flair you have for each map in which of the 4 possible unlockable locations depends on the first booster pack you draw. This allows the flair to appear in different places and require more resources.
Many fans don’t mind this and are happy about the special flair, as item cards are often used and incorporated into pretty much every deck:
Some players have also discovered the flair for other cards, such as the Pokédex or some colorless Pokémon.
But not everyone thinks this approach makes sense. Some players comment that it is a waste of shop tickets to spend them on purely cosmetic items. 6 shop tickets are also 2 hour glasses with which you can open booster packs more quickly.
Whether the shop tickets are a good investment or not depends on how important cosmetic items and a deck that is as individualized as possible are to you. But if you find both important, you need as many resources as possible.
