Escape from Tarkov: Arena has been available to the first players for a few days, but there are already ways to leave the spawn early.
What is Escape from Tarkov: Arena? The closed beta of Escape from Tarkov: Arena (EFT: Arena for short) started on Sunday, December 17, 2023. This is a new arena shooter from Battlestate Games set in the same fictional city as the popular extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov.
The gameplay is similar to other arena shooters like Call of Duty, but with the hardcore mechanics and gunplay of EFT.
If you want to take a look at the gameplay of EFT: Arena, you can see the trailer here:
Why can players leave spawn before start? Unlike in CoD MW3, you don’t see a short video sequence at the start of the round in EFT: Arena, but rather you are in a fenced-in area that opens after a short waiting period and lets you join the battle.
The user “tibrX2” now shared a video on Reddit in which he successfully leaves the spawn area before the round actually starts.
According to the video, the fence is actually a simple fence and is not supplemented by an invisible barrier or anything similar that would normally prevent players from leaving the spawn before they are supposed to.
The Reddit user managed to overcome the fence in an extremely simple way with the help of a team member and move around the map ahead of schedule.
How can you play EFT Arena? Battlestate Games is rolling out access to the EFT: Arena closed beta in waves.
While the pre-order of EFT: Arena costs 37.00 euros, the “Edge of Darkness Limited Edition” of Escape from Tarkov is significantly more expensive at 155 euros.
EFT: Arena and the extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov cannot both be purchased on Steam or on consoles. You can find out more about this on MeinMMO: How can I play Escape from Tarkov and where can I buy it?
