The British Twitch streamer “Noarmwhatley” is a phenomenon in League of Legends: The streamer had a serious accident in August 2024, he fell out of the 3. floor of a building and hit his head. Since then he has had difficulty seeing something. But he learned to deal with it.
How did the accident come about? The streamer was suddenly disappeared from Twitch in August 2024, but reported back to his fans after a good two months, in October 2024: he had suffered a serious accident. He wanted to close a window, but the window broke and he fell out of the 3rd floor onto the floor.
Noarmwhatley wrote: he opened his head and broke his skull. He put together his injuries at the time such as brain bleeding and various fractures in an animal list. The streamer said he had a craniotomy: the doctors had to open his skull to let pressure. “A fucked -up surgical intervention,” emphasized the Briton.
He ended the post in October 2024: “I also have a bald head LOL.” Clearly, an S-Tier problem.

Streamer can hardly see anything left
That was his biggest problem: When Noarmwhatley woke up from the coma, he said, according to tradition: “I can’t wait to play League of Legends again”. But that turned out to be difficult after his serious injury.
As the streamer described on Twitch in his first streams, he had extremely difficulty seeing something at all. Much of his eyesight was blocked by bleeding. He could only see what happened in the rift, only peripheral, out of the corner of the eye.
He has been on the way of improvement since October 2024, but the problem with the field of vision remained. A solution was needed.
LOL: Twitch streamer says he can “break blindness”
This is his success: Noarmwhatley is a so -called OTP in LOL, a one trick pony. He only plays Tahm Kench. Although noarmwhatley can see so badly, he still managed to be 0.5 % best players in Europe in LOL at all with the thick fish Tahm Kench.
When asked by astonished players, he himself says that he uses “animation canceling” to interrupt his blindness for a short time.
“Animation Canceling” is a term from the gaming: That means something like: You break movements of the character in front of your end and start the next action to carry out more actions in a shorter period of time. You do that to increase your own performance. Animation Canceling is considered an advanced playing technique in every game, for which you need practice because the timing is crucial.
The trick of a streamer lets his ophthalmologist freak out
This is how his trick looks: The streamer says he trained in the hospital for 2 months to see again. He says he had learned to blink and at the same time roll his eyes strongly so that the blood flows down, that gives him good eyesight for 4 to 5 seconds.
When my ophthalmologist looked at the inside of my eye, I made my trick and he was freaked out. He said he never saw that someone could control their blood like this.
Noarmwhatley says: In an article from Dexerto, he is compared to the blind hero Lee Sin, but in his opinion he is much more a blood magician like Vladimir.
How is he doing right now? On March 19, Noarmwhatley brought a child up to X: he recovered well that his skull had healed and he had only “low brain damage”. Although he is still as good as blind – that is stupid – but everything else is better again.
Besides, he no longer has a bald head. An S-Tier problem has already been solved. Luck in misfortune: since the accident, his number of spectators has doubled on Twitch: LOL is the number 1 game on Twitch, sporting integrity so that it stays that way
