The world bosses in Diablo 4 are a popular place to farm some XP and Legendaries. However, the fact that they do not spawn so often annoys many players, because most of them are working or in bed at that time.
There are currently three different world bosses. These spawn every 5-6 hours at a location on the map, which is then marked by an icon. However, the times for this are not exactly employee-friendly.
Thus, many players only make it to the world boss once a day.

Players want more frequent world boss spawns in Diablo 4
Here’s why spawn times are impractical for employees: On Reddit, the user FeelsAmazingManGun writes in the Diablo 4 subreddit on August 2nd in his post that the world boss should again spawn every 3-4 hours like in the beta.
The average adult works, has a family, and can’t be online between 7am and 7pm (via Reddit). His post currently has 1,500 upvotes and over 260 comments.
These are the times: A look at the game8_d4boss Twitter account shows that the world boss appears mostly in the middle of the night, in the morning, at noon and in the early evening. On August 1, the times were: 2:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Despite the time difference, it is similar in English-speaking countries.
For employees, this means that they are usually either sleeping or working at the times. The spawn time in the evening hours is used by most.
“The target group is parents in their 30s”
What are the players saying about this? One comment with over 600 upvotes comes from GneissFrog. He clarifies the problem with a nasty joke: He has completed the goal of the season journey of defeating the world boss 15 times. That was easy after he “quit his job and put some kids up for adoption” (via Reddit).
He also wondered if it would have been better “to keep the kids and let them search for “Uber Uniques”” – but the items are account-bound.
A few users are suggesting a way to use keys to summon the world bosses yourself. Others would like more frequent world boss spawns. User punkinabox writes: “I don’t know why they can’t appear every 2 hours. It’s not like they’re dropping anything awesome anyway.”
User Drag0nus1 writes, “I wonder if Blizzard realizes that their target audience is parents in their 30s who only have 2-4 hours a day to play this game.”
TravVdb notes that one task in the season journey is having to defeat the world boss 15x. Unless you want to “reach level 100 or kill Uber Lilith, both of which I probably won’t be able to do.” So for those who [den Weltboss 15x legen] want, it’s annoying.”
The season journey is a mechanic in Diablo 4 to collect progress for the Battle Pass in a current season. There you will find a variety of tasks that you can complete for it. For many players, the season journey is the primary driver.
Tasks in the season journey include upgrading equipment, completing nightmare dungeons, collecting Helltide embers and defeating the Echo of Varshan:
