One player wanted to join a group for a mine run in Diablo 4, but was rejected-and proved to the others that arrogance is sometimes the final boss.
That is the function of the pit: In the pit you unlock further quality levels in Diablo 4. With its many levels, the activity at the same time represents a good way to test the strength of builds in the endgame. Experts, such as Rob, use them for their theorycrafting, which serves as the basis for our Tier List.
A player reports on Reddit that he was kicked out of the group by other players. His level was apparently not high enough for the pit. After getting the chance to play along, the others had to learn that a high level was not everything.

“PS: don’t be such a guy”
What happened to the player? In his Reddit post, Montygames101 tells that he was looking for a group to tackle the pit under level 120. For comparison: According to Robs, the strongest builds create assessment in his Google Doc level 140. The player finds a group, but is kicked several times.
In the third attempt he asked for the reason. The answer: his level is “too low”. He was already at level 230 with his barbarians. When he explained that he grabbed level 120, he got as an answer from the group lead: “Well then, let’s take a look;)”
So the group got a lesson in humility: The play character of the group lead was died halfway through the pit-the rest of the group and also Montygames101. Montygames101 then offered to download the mine level if the lead would like to. But instead of an answer, he was simply kicked without a word.
In his Reddit post, he writes that it felt damn well. He notes that you shouldn’t underestimate a player because of your level. The user ends with his contribution: “PS: don’t be such a guy.”
This shows that not only the level decides on the strength of a player in Diablo 4. The group leader could be blinded by his arrogance and felt what it means to be rapidly judged and underestimated.
We will probably not find out whether the group lead has recognized that he made a mistake and judged too quickly. Speaking of errors, Blizzard recently made an admission. The curiosity dealer was once one of the best points of contact for loot – until he became 7 Genft in Season. And Blizzard admits that you generated a dealer in Season 7 of Diablo 4 too much.
