Starfield will launch on Steam in a few hours and the first tests are now live. But there are already players who are worried about Starfield. A community patch should already be planned.
Starfield is celebrating its early release in a few hours. The preload for Starfield has already started. But just a few hours before the release, some players fear that bugs and other problems could spoil the game.
For this reason, the first fan patch for Starfield has already been presented. Starfield hasn’t even appeared yet.
Players worry Starfield could be plagued by bugs
Why are the players worried? Bethesda games are not necessarily considered bug-free, especially right at release. Bethesda may always bring excellent or at least very good games to the market, but none of them were error-free: Fallout 4 or Skyrim had a number of bugs. Starfield also has the same worries that instead of having fun with the game, you have to fight bugs.
Why a community patch? Hard-working players took care of fixing the annoying problems and then made them available as a community patch. Some of the errors you want to fix include:
By the way, no additional content is planned. You want to primarily take care of bugs that made it into the game and should go away. Starfield is supposed to be a “modder’s paradise” anyway, so you can expect enough new content from other people.
Who is behind this? Behind the announced patch is the community of Nexusmods, a well-known site for mods for various games. Behind the patch are 4 well-known faces from the community, two developers and two so-called modders. The people are best known for their mods for Elder Scrolls and Fallout games.
